Rendered Speechless

yeah this was that poem thing i randomly wrote in Nagel's
i realize it follows no real poem structure but oh well

They're hiding in the shadows
Took sanctuary in their heads
Screaming with their mouths closed
Made friends with the monsters under their beds.

Locked in the closet
Victims in hide-n-seek
The seeker stopped looking
The house owner lost the key

Memories are strained to be remembered
Entangled, lost, and forgotton
No one can sense them falling
Help them,
Their souls are rotting.
